JoyJozi is a family restaurant, playground and experiential venue in Dunkeld, Johannesburg - designed so children can explore freely while adults enjoy genuinely good food and time together.
The JoyJozi idea is built around play, wholesome food, authentic design and children. Its spaces encourage curiosity, connection, exploration and uninhibited free play in a secure family environment.

JoyJozi grew from a simple frustration familiar to many parents: choosing between a place adults genuinely want to visit and somewhere children genuinely want to play.
Co-owner Brad Cilliers wanted both in the same place. The result was JoyJozi - a premium but relaxed restaurant experience built around serious play, beautiful gardens and time together as a family.

Everything is designed around a simple idea: families should not have to choose between a great meal and a great day out for the kids.
Built for little adventures.
JoyJozi gives children room to climb, slide, balance, splash, explore, imagine and just be children. The venue combines outdoor gardens with indoor spaces so play is part of the whole experience, not an afterthought.
Food grown-up enough for adults.
JoyJozi was never meant to be a playground with food attached. The restaurant is a reason to visit in its own right: relaxed, generous and designed to make family meals feel easy.
The menu balances approachable family favourites with enough flavour and variety to make grown-ups happy too.
